CPT Test for Students taking Concurrent Enrollment Classes next year
Students who have registered for or want to take English 1010, Humanities 1100, Math 1010 or Math 1050 next year will need to test and receive passing scores or submit current acceptable ACT scores. We will be offering students the opportunity to take the CPT (Competency Placement Test) Test at West JordanHigh School during school hours only.
Students must register on-line or at the college as a student with Salt Lake Community College and pay their $35 registration fee between March 16th and 26th, bring their SLCC S Number to the Career Center and sign up for a testing date and time.
If a student is already enrolled as a concurrent enrollment student they will just need to sign up for a testing date and time in the CareerCenter.
Students may sign up for the tests and have any questions answered in the CareerCenter - CTE Room (C-3).
We are encouraging students to take these tests during their Math and English periods.
TESTING DATES WILL BE
APRIL 14th – 17th.
Students MUST register with the college and sign up for the tests in the CareerCenter by March 26th.
Students will need to make up the work they miss during their testing time.
This test is not a timed test, as students’ finish they will be sent back to class.
We are offering this as a service and a help to our students here at the high school.
Students may go to the College Testing Center to take the CPT Tests if they miss the high school deadline dates, or if these testing dates do not work with their schedule.
